You've collected the data. You've even cleaned it. But the way you hand it over is the difference between a repeat buyer and a one-off refund. Packaging is a product skill, not a shipping task.
The four things every package needs
- A readme describing what's inside, how it was collected, and known limitations.
- A schema file so the buyer's engineers don't have to guess column meanings.
- A dated changelog in a format a script can parse.
- A sample of 1,000 rows the buyer can inspect before paying.
Zip it. Checksum it. Name the archive with the version, the date, and the dataset slug. Boring, repeatable, trusted.
